Complete, Residential

Set in the suburbs of Athens, this contemporary private residence is designed to maximise natural light, privacy, and panoramic views. The project’s defining feature is its elevated outdoor living concept: a roof garden and swimming pool positioned at the top of the building, creating a continuous 270° outlook across the Athenian mountains, the city skyline, and the sea—with distant island views on clear days.

Daily life is organised around an open-plan living level with immediate access to the roof terrace. Here, the day zone unfolds as a single, fluid space: an open kitchen oriented to the view, a dining area, and a generous lounge complemented by a quiet reading corner by the fireplace. The private functions are arranged on the lower floors, where the night zone includes the bedrooms as well as discreet laundry, storage, and service spaces.

The architecture is expressed through a refined façade composition of vertical aluminium elements. From different viewpoints, these fins visually soften the massing and shape clean, legible planes that define the building’s volume. A palette of earthy materials and warm tones anchors the residence to its setting, while exposed concrete becomes a sculptural element on the roof level, framing the outdoor spaces with a distinctly modern character.

At ground level, the garden is planted with a curated mix of Mediterranean and Greek species, strengthening the home’s connection to its landscape and extending the experience of outdoor living throughout the site.
