Eliova Resort Afandou, Rhodes

Set a little back from the beach of Afandou in Rhodes, this decadent site is divided into two plots and features two luxury hotels that sit adjacent to each other on each plot. Both are surrounded by a rich array of amenities, with all residences oriented towards the sea. 

Taking inspiration from the Venetian aesthetics of the island’s old town, the design across both hotels features high arches constructed from aluminium that are set against marble and stone veneers. Solar panels are set across each roof to sustainably power the buildings. Water features surround the building, with cascading fountains serving as landmarks to the hotel entrance, and an extended waterway which guides guests from the swimming pools down to the sea. 

Designed to foster a sense of ultimate escapism within a private and discrete environment, the hotel offers commercial areas, wellness areas, sports facilities and a playground for children that are spread out across the site. The both double rooms and family rooms are housed in the main buildings, however guests can also book secluded, grass-topped villas away from the main hotel space.
