Alemagou Landscape Mykonos, Greece

Set on the idyllic bay of Ftelia, Alemagou has become one of Mykonos’ most iconic destinations—renowned for its distinctive culinary experience, relaxed Cycladic atmosphere, and vibrant summer parties.

Our studio was commissioned to redesign the landscape of the venue, shaping the entire outdoor experience from guest arrival to the restaurant and down to the beachfront. Our scope focused on enhancing and integrating the outdoor environment around the already established restaurant, ensuring a cohesive flow throughout the site.

Central to the concept was a hybrid landscape solution that allows the beach area to operate in two distinct modes: an open, laid-back lounge during the day, and a raised VIP platform for events and parties. This transformation required precise level design to optimise circulation between the restaurant and the sea, while maintaining unobstructed views and a natural, seamless transition across spaces.

The intervention also introduced a richer natural palette to the site, with new vegetation and carefully positioned palm trees reinforcing the sense of place and softening the coastal landscape. These additions enhanced shade, comfort, and visual identity while remaining true to the understated elegance that defines Alemagou.

Through this approach, the beach can preserve its inviting daytime character yet effortlessly shift into an exclusive event setting when needed. The landscape design elevates the overall experience, complementing the venue’s existing architecture and amplifying the unique spirit that has made Alemagou a benchmark of summer life in Mykonos.
