Humans and Algorithms forum – Chania, Crete – 22 November

Bobotis+Bobotis Architects will participate in the Humans and Algorithms forum in Chania, Crete, curated by the Design Ambassador. The event explores the intersection between technology, tourism, and architecture — where data, artificial intelligence, and human experience converge to shape the identity of places.

Lukas Bobotis will join the panel “The First and Last Impressions: Airports, Ports and Mobility Infrastructure”, focusing on how architectural design defines the first and last points of contact between a traveler and a destination. These infrastructures — gateways to a country — play a crucial role in forming emotional connections, shaping perceptions, and enhancing the overall experience of place.

Through this discussion, the panel will examine how contemporary design can balance efficiency, sustainability, and a sense of identity, particularly in projects such as the new airport in Kastelli, Crete.
